26th Annual Hawai'i Kupuna Hula Festival, Na Hula Piha`Eu.

Wednesday and Thursday, September 24 and 25, at 5:30 PM.

Kupuna from all over will be competing in the 26th Annual Hawai`i Kupuna Hula Festival, held at the Sheraton Keauhou Resort in Kona.

On Wednesday evening there is the Tutu Wahine and Tutu Kane Competitions and after intermission there will be an International Ho`olaule`a with the halaus performing.

Thursday will be the Wahine, Kane and Mixed Group Competitions.

Complimenting the festival, a Craft Fair is held during the two day event at the festival site.

Also, available are commemorative festival apparel designed exclusively for the event.

The event is sponsored by Hawai`i County Economic Opportunity Council (HCEOC), 1st Hawaiian Bank, Kukio, Waikoloa Land Corp., Big Island Candies, and Aloha Festivals.

The hula festival is annually recognized as an official event of the Aloha Festivals.
