Hawaii Networking

Located some two thousand miles form the nearest continent, in Hawaii networking is crucial.

Business Networking

Especially on the internet, where you do or die by the information sword, Business networking is critical for Hawaiian Business Owners. For online businesses, advertising for traffic is not the way to go. If you are, I seriously suggest you start a affiliate program. Either that or build a keyword focused website that will get the search engines to drive traffic to you. That is what I am in the process of doing.

One good site that I highly recommend for starting a affiliate program is Linkconnector. To learn how to Drive traffic to your site with LinkConnector Affiliate Programs!. Follow that link. Those guys have like 10,000 or more companies they represent. Some of them are pretty major. Once we get our store up, we will probably use them.

To find out more about building a keyword focused website, read up on how I have been doing it, on my page on how to build a professional website, without html experience. how to build a professional website, without html experience.

Another good site is Kamaainajobs.com They give you good leads for people seeking jobs in Hawaii. They have jobs on the Big Island and other islands. You can also post a job opening on this site.

Social Networking

The newest resource I've found for those of us that live here and love the aina, is Maoli World.

My Space for Hawaiians.

If you click on the logo below it will take you to my page on Maoli World.

Another resource I like a lot is Craigslist.org you can find everything there, from a job, to a surfboard.

Here is one more pretty cool site that I have run across for networking in Hawaii, especially for Big Island Surfers, is the Coconut Girl Wireless Blog site.

I also have to throw in a recommendation for the Kona Blog.

So check em out, and let me know of resources that you know about. Aloha David
