Big Island News: County Holds Town Meeting in Waikoloa on May 19

Mayor Billy Kenoi continues his policy of bringing county government to communities around Hawaii Island when the mayor and key members of his cabinet gather at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Waikoloa Village Association.

Issues such as the Kamakoa Workforce Housing, civil defense and road issues will be up for discussion, as well as any other items of interest to the community.

Attending this meeting will be the Mayor and County department heads, including Planning Director Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, Housing Administrator Steve Arnett, Environmental Management Director Lono Tyson, and Mass Transit Administrator Thomas Brown. Police and Corporation Counsel will also send representatives.

Light refreshments will be served.
