What a wonderful service and panel topic. I realize that is has already occurred, but I just came across it and felt that I could offer some additional thoughts. One consideration when selecting a panel on a topic like this is the natural inclination to have all representatives being from the funeral goods or services industry, such as funeral homes, crematories or cemeteries. But, it is important to keep in mind that they are all for-profit and make their living, sometimes with a commission incentive, based upon the decisions made by families during emotional disarray and limited time, many resulting in significant financial trauma to those who trusted during their time of need. Emotional and up-sell techniques are very common in this industry.
