35 Big Island athletes will be given slots in the 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship.

This is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run; 1/2 Ironman Triathlon distance event and qualifier for the 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship.

20 slots for other Hawaii residents and 24 international slots will be awarded from this race also.
