Please help save Kawa'a, save the Kingdom of Hawaii

Free Kawa'a, Free the Kingdom of Hawaii

Free Kawa'a, Free the Kingdom of Hawaii

Aloha Kakou,

There's an attempted land theft happening on the Big Island at this very moment. Why is this land theft more significant than the others? It involves pristine Ka'u, the last frontier in Hawaii. We don't need another Oahu. We need to preserve this magnificent island for future generations. Please sign the petition to help keep the rightful owners in their home, stewarding this amazing land.

Mega developer Ed Olson and the county is pushing hard to steal the pristine land of Kawa'a (rightfully owned by Abel Lui and family), especially when they have a deadline of end of June. This has been a long standing assault of human rights and environmental protection. Since Olson has close ties with the press, information is severely skewed to misrepresent the truth. This issue needs to be widely publicized to reflect truth, not manipulated by those in power. The Lui family had been physically assaulted (tazered, unnecessary force on the elderly) by the police multiple times for standing their ground. They have a federal court date coming up in the near future. There is an online petition to ganar support from the public and they are needing financial help due to great costs associated with this dispute.
