Public Law 103-150 states that the Hawaiians never directly relinquished their inherent sovereignty. For 15 years we fought off the State having any involvement in the Hawaiian Sovereignty movement. We have fought Federal Recognition for years. It took over thirty years to dig up the historical records of the illegal Overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom and make it available to the public. I was talking to some Kupuna here as they started to show an interest in things like Kau Inoa, Federal recognition to be the same as Native Americans. I asked them.. Do you think they treat Native Americans as first or second class citizens..?? They replied...second or third... I commented that we have been told the we we not Hawaiian under the Hawaiian Kingdom...but we were First Class American citizens. I then commented that "they" are now asking you if you would volunteer to be a second class citizen..for you and you families. It gave them a differant way to look at whats going on with this State Recognition of the Hawaiians. Ther is going to be a big drive to sell you on this sign up ...register...rolls commision for this new government for the Hawaiian People. What exacly will they be governing? Where? Anybody getting anything that is improving you lives....education..housing..health..? Those funds are already here... you geting any..? Lets talk... Olaha.... Hanalei
