June 21, 2008
The 6th Annual Hawaii Island Seed Exchange
This Big Island Event will take place at the Amy Greenwell Ethnobotanical Gardens in Captain Cook from 8 am to 12:30 pm.
Farmers and gardeners from all over the Big Island come to this event to exchange seeds, cuttings, advice, and more on their favorite crops.
Focus is on self-sufficiency for the Big Island and is a great way for agriculturally minded people to network.
The gardens are located in Captain Cook off Mamalahoa Highway, just South of Mile Marker 110.
