Wailea Village Historic Preservation – Mochi Pounding 12/28/2008




Celebrate the New Year with demonstrations of and participation in traditional Japanese mochi pounding and making the rice cakes.

Hearty local lunch included for $5.

Location: Akiko’s Buddhist Bed and Breakfast at 15-mile marker, Hwy. 19 on Hamakua Coast. 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
