Another blessing from Big Island Hawaii is the Farmer's Markets, all year-round. Whether they are held in a town, or in the outskirts...whatever it is you are buying-you can get it best and fresh at the Big Island Hawaii Farmer's Markets.
One of our favorites is the Pahoa/Makuu farmer's market every Sunday Morning. There you can find various ethnic foods, live music and just about anything you want or need. You've got your people who are selling house wares, clothing, (used or new) an assortment of fresh vegetable/fruit/plant vendors, jewelry, canned goods and crafts.

Hilo Farmer's Market The Best Farmers Market on the Island in our opinion. Local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and box lunches. Local arts and crafts. 6 a.m.-4 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday. Corner of Kamehameha Ave. & Mamo Street. Keith, 933-1000.
Kinoole Farmers Market, 1900 Kinoole St., Saturdays 7 am - noon.
Rainbow Falls Market Place. Hula show, free samples, homegrown and handmade products from island crafters, local farmers and home-based businesses. Mondays and Thursdays, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. across from Rainbow Falls. Mike, 933-9173.

Holualoa Farmers MarketSaturday mornings 9 till noon at Holuakoa Gardens restaurant. Just getting started, so it's small, but there are great fresh breads; heirloom turnips, carrots, and assorted herbs and greens; flowers and more.
Keauhou Farmer's MarketEvery Saturday, from 8:00AM to noon at Keauhou Shopping Center, fronting Ace Hardware. All products are home grown in Hawaii - fruits, vegetables, flowers, coffee, macadamia nuts & more. Music too!
