Kailua-Kona Restaurants: Mahina's Pizza - Assorted Pizza/ Italian

Locals are ecstatic to see Mahina's, a favorite pizza joint in town a few years back, re-open in the Kona Inn Shopping Village.

Upstairs, above the shops, Mahina's serves up some of the tastiest pies on the island (from the usual pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom combos to a great "Garden of Eden" vegetarian option) accompanied by cool ocean breezes and pleasant "downtown" Kona views.

It is not uncommon for the owner to close up shop to go paddling, so call ahead to make sure they're open.
