6TH ANNUAL HOSPICE OF HILO "CELEBRATION OF LIFE"
At sunset, the Lights of Remembrance Ceremony as lanterns are launched on the water in memory and honor of loved ones
Hospice of Hilo invites the community to share remembrance and celebrate life at the 6th annual Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 15 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Wailoa State Park, under the large pavilion. The event features a 2.25 mile walk, food, and live entertainment leading up to the Lights of Remembrance. Come and design a luminary in memory of a loved one and enjoy the launch of the lanterns at sunset on the Wailoa River. Luminaries are available for $15 in advance or at the event.
Also celebrate remembrance by participating in our memorial walk. Dedicate your walk in memory of a loved one, gone but not forgotten. For walk registration information, please contact Sarah Duckworth at 808-969-1733 or visit www.hospiceofhilo.org.
"This will be a family and community celebration of the entire span of life" from our energetic children to our wise elders. We'll be honoring, through performance, music and speech, the special gifts of each stage of life, and especially how we're all connected to one another.รข?
