…..sign up ASAP

Dragon Eye in Puna is hosting a one day Introduction to Aquaponics on January 9th.

For folks flying in to the Big Island, Diga will be there to pick us up at the airport at 8am and bring us to the workshop and will return us in the evening. Everyone just to chip in for gas ($10) round trip. A bargain. Glenn and Natalie will be flying in an escorting and coordinating the trip from airport and return. Anyone on Oahu needing a ride to the Honolulu airport, give us a call 808 259-0223.

I will be Flying down with a few people from Oahu for the workshop and encourage all to attend.

• I is GREAT that someone is offering to teach and introduction to Aquaponics for an affordable price. $75 is way AFFORDABLE
• There are more people interested in a one day “BackYard” aquaponics $75 than the Commercial 4 day courses aquaponics ($1,200 to $1,500)
• Dragon Eye is a unique example of SOLAR powered low energy system.
• Dragon Eye is unique 100% TOTAL recovery system, using 100% of available nutrition in the system
• They have adapted many attributes from other innovators, like the Plywood fixed hanging flood bed system
• They not only will provide the basis introduction to the chemistry but the ratio fish/plant of actual operation
• There is much to learn from someone who has just been through the START UP and stabilization
• For the PRO’s out there, and folks that have a system up and running, come and share your stories, show up and help out and support a team that has done a lot to support the growth of Aquaponics on the Big Island. Dragon Eye has hosted multiple tours to other farms, providing their bus and driving for free. That has done a LOT to educate folks on the other islands as to what is happening on the Big Island. Show and tell is the BEST education model. Get out of the classroom and get on the farm to experience REAL operation.
• I can promise you, there is much to be learned from studying the Dragon Eye system.
•
Also Coming up in January Dragon Eye is hosting a one day tour of four Big Island Aquaponic Farms.
http://www.dragonseyeventures.com/Site/aquaponics_tours.html highly recommended for anyone THINKING of starting an Aquaponic system. Go see what works!
