The Best Kona Fishing: Going For the Big One

The Best Kona Fishing for many people is going after the Pacific Blue Marlin.

This is what most of the tournaments are all about, and the reason that they are held from late spring to early fall, when the Pacific Blue is in season.

But that doesn't mean that you won't have a good time fishing at other time of the year.

Quite the contrary.

You can catch a wide variety of other fish all through the year, and even sometimes a Blue Marlin.

The trick is to be on the right boat.

Follow this link to a listing of four charter boats, with prices starting at $95 dollars a person.

The Best Kona Fishing: Sportfishing on the Big Island of Hawai'i

Big Island Fishing, and Kona fishing in particular is known around the world, because the coast line gives way to deep open ocean 5 minutes out from the harbor.

This is the reason we have more hookups for the Pacific Blue then anywhere else in the world.

Kona is the perfect environment for them.

We also have a abundance of Ahi, Mahi Mahi, Ono, Spearfish, Swordfish, and many others.

If you are interested in entering into one of the tournaments, and you don't have a boat, I suggest you charter one ASAP.

The charter boats get booked up long before a tournament begins.

Kona has had more Blue Pacific Marlins landed then any where else in the world, with 55 females over the 1000 pound mark!

Who will bring in the next one?
