The Hawai'i Police Department is looking for a 31-year-old visitor from California who was reported missing.

Brian Miles Duffy is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-2, about 165 pounds with red wavy hair and green eyes. He was last heard from on February 24 while speaking with a relative on the mainland.

He arrived on the Big Island on or about February 1. His destination was reported to be Waipio Valley in the Hāmākua District.

Police ask that anyone with any information about Duffy call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

The Hawai'i Police Department has located 31-year-old Brian Miles Duffy, who was reported missing.

The California man was found Wednesday morning (March 25) in the Hāmākua district in good health.

The Police Department thanks the public for assisting us in locating him.
