Ceded Lands Supreme Court Case is Starting to Get National Attention: Hawaiians Discuss Ceded Land Case on WBAI in NYC
As the Supreme Court Hearing on the Ceded Lands Case, Oha V State of Hawaii, draws nearer, people on all sides are getting antsy.
This wonderful interview on WBAI in NYC, gives the viewpoints of representatives of the Hawaiian Kingdom on the players in the case, the ramifications, and some of the history behind the case.
One of the important clarifications that Tom Anthony and Leon Siu of Aupuni Hawaii continuously make is that this is not just a Native Hawaiian issue, but a Hawaiian Kingdom issue.
The designation of Native Hawaiian isolates people away from the protection of their rights as a sovereign nation, and isolates them from the rest of the non native population who is also eligible to protection under kingdom laws.
The main focus on this point is that Hawaii was a independent nation that held Treaties with twenty countries, and that all Hawaii's citizens are afforded protection under international law.

This racist garbage has become entirely nauseating!!!!!!!!
Prince Kunio on several ocasions tried to introduce bills in congress to make us a state. Enough of this racist nonsense already. Quit trying to live in a pretend world and get real.
There's no way in hell that there is going to be any Hawaiian nation.
