Clues in Hawaiian mo‘olelo that predict eruptions

Dr. James P. Kauahikaua, Scientist-in-Charge at Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, presents the lecture “Volcanology, Geology and Mo‘olelo” from 5:30–7 p.m. Friday, September 25, in Kona at the Keauhou Beach Resort Ballroom II and from noon–1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 28, in Hilo at the UH-Hilo University Classroom Building Room 127.
The lecture is part of the Puana Ka ‘Ike (Imparting Knowledge) series, an educational forum that offers a deeper understanding of Hawaiian culture, history, tradition and perspective of the environment.
