There's not much to this downtown eatery: five tables, three booths, and owner Alisa Rung Khongnok hard at work in the kitchen.

It's a bit hard to find, but fresh, reasonably priced meals make it worth seeking out.

It may be the best Thai food on the island.

For those who like to pair spicy curry with cold beer, feel free to pick up a six-pack at the grocery store up the street.

Naung Mai charges $2 for glasses.
