HOURLY VOG MONITORING WEBSITE - BIG ISLAND

Big Island needs a website that reports vog (PM 2.5) hourly in a reliable professional manner from 30 points around the island - at different elevations. Great business opportunity for a scientific computer savvy person who genuinely cares about health of our native community. Education empowers! This website would attract advertisers who are also health conscious about air quality and offer products to help people deal with vog effects.

You could rate AC and air purifiers, and have articles on blood thinning products, etc.
so people know where to go - how to be proactive. Your data would be helpful on many fronts.

Why are we all waiting for government to report this online? Clearly they have not put in very many monitors, nor are those monitors even timely or reliable. This is a great commercial opportunity for the right person who lives there full time and can set this up in a professional manner. There are websites (one is a native American Indian tribe) doing this already online, and you can see how they handle the hourly reports. People who live close to the earth, care about the air and natural world. Does this not describe the Hawaiians as well?

Each vog monitoring station should nominally list their location on island as well as 1) time 2) elevation 3) PM 2.5 count. SO2 level within few miles of the volcano might be nice, so people know when it is safe to come into Park.

Health conscious people would hit on this website continually all day long for the most current air quality readings and to plan their activities and day! This site would get a LOT of internet traffic!
