This place is truly a gem. I've been to Hawaii over 20 times and when I stayed at the Kent's Kona Condo, it was one of the best trips to the Islands that I've ever taken! The condo sits right on the edge of the water!! I loved being able to see dolphins out in front and watch the parasailers fly by. And, you can throw bread off the lanai into the water and watch the fish go crazy for it. The water is super clear and warm too. I went snorkeling right out in front of the complex! There is plenty to see out there.
I enjoyed being able to sit on the lanai and stare out at the water. It was super relaxing.
The unit itself is very nice, and well maintained. The complex with the pool and barbeque area is also a nice touch. Everything for cooking and grilling is available in the condo, so I cooked almost every night and then went up to the condo and watched the sunset while I ate my dinner. There are plenty of restaurants close by though if you don't feel like cooking on your vacation.
The condo stays surprisingly cool at night and there are fans in the bedrooms to use if you need them.
I liked the rest of the condo also, it was a very comfortable place to stay.
All in all I was very satisfied with my stay there, and I will definitely be back to enjoy it again. I love Kona and the Big Island even more now!
