One Night, written and directed by Misa Tupou will screen at the Amphitheater at Fairmont Orchid Resort at 9:00am on Saturday May 15, as part of The Big Island Film Festival 2010.

Winner of the September 2009 Showdown in Chinatown short film competition, One Night symbolically explores the new growth of Chinatown Honolulu through homelessness. The judging panel commented that it was “compelling throughout, (it) gave a great sense of Chinatown". Winning the Showdown event enabled One Night to screen at the 2009 Hawai’i International Film Festival.

For more information on One Night, please contact Misa on 808 721-6942. Or visit www.bigislandfilmfestival.com for tickets and directions.
