The King of Slack Key: Ledward Kaapana Live in Concert Friday July 2nd
The grand master of slack key, Big Island born Ledward Kaapana, will perform at the Lead Center on July 2nd 2010, 7:00 to 9:00PM. Kaapana captivates his audiences with his distinct baritone and leo ki‘eki‘e (falsetto) voices and has won the Favorite Entertainer Award at the 2009 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. He has also earned numerous Grammy Award nominations. Doors open at 6:00PM. Tickets are available Kona Brothers Coffee, Da Poke Shack, Waimea Music Exchange, on line at www.livehawaiianlegends.com or at the LEAD Center. Keiki under 16 years of age are $15 door; all others $20 presale/$25 door.
